Congrats on your good taste in teams! ;-D

I'm pretty sure the Jags fly a chartered jet, as there's upwards of 100 people traveling in all and (literally) a couple of tons of gear. I would imagine they fly into a regular airport (I know they fly out of Jax International) I'm not sure whether you're better off trying to snag them after the game as they head for the bus - they're probably looking forward to getting home at that point. Of course, a major difference would be whether they were coming off an win or not...not to mention whether they had postseason to look forward to...

Can't give you any hotel advice - never been to Baltimore.

Hi Ann, I agree with the advice to call your airline first-tell them what you plant to do & your concerns about temperature/air pressure as well as x-rays. I would suggest in addition to bagging in breathable bags you pack these securely in a sturdy container such a cooler that has had holes made in the top.

In addition I would suggest you get a couple of battery air pumps & a good supply of batteries-that way you can ensure they are well aerated during your stop overs. The bright labelling of live animals carried on airlines mentioned by one person is very encouraging as it ensures everyone involved in loading & unloading takes the greatest care-check your airline also does this-I'm sure it will be fine!

All of the above are great..I would add since I have done the same thing....only with marine specimans. You can purchase a small Oxegen tank with disposible regulator and air up your bags after you get where your going, etc...about as big as a hairspray can, and take some de-chlor with you for your mini water changes in the bags as the waste from the carps will cause stress in a multitude of forms.....however...if you try this. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BETTA ANY OXEGEN!!!!! being a labyrenth his little lungs would burst.
Good Luck!
